I am now planning to take my Avid and iNews test at KOMU on Monday, March 23.
I am hoping once I pass that test, I will be able to do some good stories, something that viewers will enjoy and I can use for resume tape. Right from now, I am looking for some good long-term ideas that can be both visually and content-wise strong. There are a few ideas I have come up with but still want to use the coming few weeks to find other, and hopefully better ideas. For my long-term ideas, I am looking more for feature stories. Stories that have a strong human interest element and a so-called central compelling character. I am positive a good research will pay off at the end of the day!
I am, meanwhile, doing more practices on Avid and iNews to improve my work speed, something which would be crucial for passing the test.
